The Gecko Garage – Terms of Service
By purchasing an animal from The Gecko Garage, the buyer acknowledges that they have read and agree to the following terms and conditions.
Health Guarantee
All animals sold by The Gecko Garage are guaranteed to be healthy at the time of shipment.
We provide a 7-day health guarantee beginning at the time the animal is delivered. If the gecko shows signs of illness within this period, the buyer must notify us within 24 hours of noticing the issue so that we may assist in determining a solution.
Failure to contact us within this timeframe will void the health guarantee.
This guarantee does not cover illnesses or injuries caused by improper husbandry, dehydration, overheating, neglect, or physical injury after arrival.
We reserve the right to request documentation from a licensed reptile veterinarian if necessary to evaluate a health claim.
Live Arrival & Death on Arrival (DOA)
All animals are guaranteed to arrive alive when shipped under safe weather conditions and when someone is available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt.
In the rare event of a Death on Arrival (DOA):
The buyer must contact us within 1 hour of delivery
Clear photos must be provided showing:
the animal in its original container
the shipping box
the shipping label
Failure to provide notification and documentation within this time period will void the live arrival guarantee.
If a DOA claim is verified, compensation will be provided in the form of store credit, unless otherwise agreed upon.
We are not responsible for delays, mishandling, or errors caused by the shipping carrier once the package has been accepted for shipment.
Shipping
Shipping is included in the purchase price of all animals listed by The Gecko Garage.
All animals are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight through MorphMarket.
Shipping occurs Monday through Wednesday to prevent animals from being held at carrier facilities over the weekend.
Shipping dates are always mutually agreed upon between buyer and seller before shipment.
Animals will only be shipped when temperatures fall within safe ranges:
Home Delivery: 50°F – 75°F
Hub Pickup: 45°F – 80°F
If weather conditions are unsafe, shipment will be delayed until temperatures return to safe shipping ranges.
Buyers are responsible for providing a correct and deliverable shipping address. The Gecko Garage is not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect addresses provided by the buyer.
Dropped Tails
Geckos may drop their tails due to stress, shipping, or natural defensive responses. Tail dropping is a natural biological response and cannot be predicted or prevented.
The Gecko Garage cannot guarantee tail retention during shipping and is not responsible for tail drops that occur during transit.
Sex Guarantee
Animals listed as male or female are guaranteed to be sexed correctly.
Animals listed as unsexed, possible male, or possible female are determined through pore inspection and cannot be guaranteed, as sexing juvenile geckos is not always definitive.
Payment Plans
Payment plans are available for animals priced over $400.
Payment plan terms include:
25% non-refundable deposit
Remaining balance must be paid within 30 days
If payment is not completed within the agreed timeframe, the deposit will be forfeited and the animal will be relisted for sale.
Payment plans may not be accepted if the payment timeline extends beyond safe shipping weather conditions.
To inquire about a payment plan, buyers may contact us through MorphMarket, Instagram, or Facebook.
Holds
Animals may be placed on hold on a case-by-case basis.
Hold deposits are non-refundable.
Animals may also be held if shipping conditions are unsafe due to weather.
By submitting a hold deposit, the buyer confirms that they have read and agreed to these terms.
Order Cancellations
Order cancellations may be requested within 14 days of the purchase date.
Approved cancellations will be subject to a 25% restocking fee, which covers administrative costs, listing fees, and the time the animal was held off the market.
Cancellation requests made after 14 days from the purchase date will not be honored, and all payments made toward the purchase will be forfeited.
Once an animal has been shipped, the sale is considered final and cancellations will not be accepted.
Buyer Responsibility
It is the buyer’s responsibility to research and understand the care requirements, enclosure needs, and husbandry practices necessary for the species they are purchasing.
By purchasing an animal from The Gecko Garage, the buyer confirms they are prepared to properly house and care for the animal upon arrival.
Improper husbandry or lack of preparation will void any guarantees provided.
Returns & Exchanges
All animal sales are final unless covered under the Live Arrival Guarantee or Health Guarantee outlined above.

By completing a purchase from The Gecko Garage, the buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms listed above.
