Shipping Cost
Shipping is included in the purchase price of all animals listed by The Gecko Garage.
There are no additional shipping charges unless otherwise stated prior to purchase.
Shipping Method
All animals are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight through Morphmarket.
Estimated arrival is typically the following morning, however delivery times are not guaranteed once the package is in carrier possession.
We are not responsible for delays, routing changes, or carrier-related issues after shipment has been dispatched.
Shipping Schedule
Animals are shipped Monday through Wednesday only.
This ensures animals are not held in carrier facilities over weekends.
All shipping dates must be mutually agreed upon between buyer and seller prior to shipment.
Temperature & Weather Policy
Animals will only be shipped when weather conditions are safe for transit.
Home Delivery: 50°F – 75°F
Hub Pickup: 45°F – 80°F
If temperatures fall outside of safe ranges, shipment will be delayed until conditions improve.
We reserve the right to adjust shipping method (home delivery vs hub pickup) based on weather conditions to ensure animal safety.
Address Responsibility
The buyer is responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address at the time of purchase.
The Gecko Garage is not responsible for:
Incorrect addresses
Undeliverable locations
Packages marked as “delivered” by the carrier
Delivery Requirement (Live Arrival Guarantee Condition)
To qualify for the Live Arrival Guarantee:
The buyer must be available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt
Packages must not be left unattended or exposed to extreme temperatures after delivery
Failure to meet these conditions may void the Live Arrival Guarantee.
Shipping Risk Acknowledgment
Once the package is in possession of the shipping carrier, The Gecko Garage is not responsible for:
Carrier delays
Mishandling
Lost packages
Weather-related transit issues
However, all animals are packaged with the intent of maximizing safety and survival during transit.
DOA (Death on Arrival) Policy
In the rare event of a Death on Arrival (DOA):
The buyer must contact us within 1 hour of delivery
Clear photo documentation must be provided showing:
the animal in the shipping container
the shipping box and label
If verified, the buyer may choose:
Full refund, or
Replacement animal of equal value, when available
Failure to provide timely notice and documentation will void the Live Arrival Guarantee.
Agreement to Terms
By completing a purchase, the buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all shipping terms outlined above.
